THE RESTAURANT
A centrally located restaurant in Betanzos serving homemade food for up to a hundred diners. The two settings offer a choice of formal and informal dining. This restaurant is renowned for its excellent service in a delightful setting. The dishes made from local produce are ideal for pairing with the selection of “Betanzos” Protected Geographical Indication wines.
THE CUISINE
The menu at the Vega restaurant lists a wide selection of portions and dishes that are typical of Betanzos, such as the omelette. The local stew is another house speciality (available from 7th January until Carnival time – diners are advised to book in advance). In November the restaurant prepares the famous Betanzos cabbage in a fish that includes pork shoulder, chickpeas, pork ribs and chorizo sausage.
